CRITOGRAPH STUDENT NEWSPAPER
As an illustrator for The Critograph Newspaper at the University of Lynchburg, I had the opportunity to create over 450 digital spot illustrations that brought articles to life. Focusing on topics such as campus life, student issues, student options, and popular culture, my illustrations added visual appeal and engagement to the publication. I particularly enjoyed creating open-ended topic illustrations and incorporating pop culture references.
In addition to illustration, I also took on responsibilities related to print production and layout design, utilizing Adobe InDesign to format newspapers efficiently. Collaborating closely with the editorial team, managing digital assets, and proofreading for accuracy were essential parts of my role. My contributions helped to create a visually cohesive publication that captured important moments from the College changing into the University of Lynchburg.
